NBA Conference Finals Predictions!!!

Posted on: May 20, 2008 7:27 pm

Eastern Conference:

Boston Celtics vs Detroit Pistons (Pistons in 6)

The Celtics have still not proven that they can win on the road in the playoffs. The Pistons are a very experienced team, and can steal one on the road easily. Chauncey Billups had a minor injury last series, but other than that the Pisonts are heatlhy and are coming of a  long rest. The Celtics on the other hand finished  another tiring seven game series against the Cavaliers. Ray Allen is unable to do anything for the Celtics. The Pistons are playing rock solid, and know how to get it done.

Western Conference:

Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs (Lakers in 6)

The Lakers beat the Jazz in 6 games and the Spurs beat the Hornets in 7 games. The Spurs and Lakers can not only win on at home, but also on the road. The  Spurs are aging away, and need their younger players to step up for them. The Lakers have been performing well in the playoffs, and should be able to continue that.

NBA Conference Finals Predictions!!!

Gonna go out on a limb here. I think the series against the Hornets was a wake up call to the Spurs. So I say the Spurs in 7. The Pistons are hitting on all 8 cylinders right now. Celtics--so so. I'll have to say Pistons in 7.  .    McNair Jamal Lewis Ray Lewis Ed Reed Adalius Thomas Charlie Frye Braylon Edwards Sean Jones LaDainian Tomlinson Antonio Gates Shawne Merriman Quentin Jammer Tatum Bell Rod Smith Javon Walker Champ Bailey Sam Madison John Lynch Jerry Porter
